Description
High performance manual ventilation training, guided by real-time feedback.
Designed to support advanced CPR training, the Archeon EOlife X provides real-time feedback on key ventilation parameters, heling responders deliver the right volume of air at the correct rate. Built for adult and paediatric manikin training EOlife X is a specialised ventilation training device that provides visual guidance for healthcare providers, educators, EMS professionals and first responders as they develop and refine manual bag valve mask ventilation during cardiac arrest scenarios.
During cardiac arrest, ventilation quality has a direct impact on CPR performance, yet it is often assessed by observation alone. Without accurate feedback, it can be difficult to understand whether appropriate tidal volume is being delivered, whether ventilation frequency is within the correct range, or whether leakage is reducing the volume of air reaching the lungs. This creates a critical training gap. Responders are expected to deliver consistent, effective bag-valve-mask ventilation under pressure, while adapting their technique to variable conditions, patient presentations, and mask seal challenges.
EOlife X addresses this by providing real-time measurement of key ventilation parameters, including tidal volume (Vt), insufflated volume (Vi), ventilation frequency and leakage. By making these parameters visible, EOlife X helps trainees understand how mask seal, ventilation rate and delivered volume influence effective oxygen delivery and overall CPR performance.
Designed for adult and paediatric manikin training, EOlife X provides visual feedback to support ventilation in accordance with ERC and AHA recommendations. Its monitored ventilation mode guides users through training sessions in real time, while blind ventilation mode records and evaluates ventilation performance without visual guidance, allowing educators to assess technique more objectively. Training data can be exported via Bluetooth through the EOlife Connect app, enabling users and educators to review, analyse and store session results over time. This supports booster training, spaced learning and targeted improvement by identifying the areas that require correction.
EOlife X is suited to a wide range of training environments, including ambulance and EMS education, hospital resuscitation training, university and simulation programs, first responder training, and ongoing CPR skills maintenance. With adult and paediatric training settings, including protocols based on Broselow Colour-Coded guidance, it supports more structured and measurable ventilation training across different patient scenarios.

Weight: 170 grams ±5 grams (5.997 oz ± 0.176 oz)
Transient operating conditions: Temperature from 0°C (32° F) to +40°C (104° F). Relative humidity from 15% to 95% (non-condensing). Atmospheric pressure from 620 hPa (altitude of 4000 m) to 1060 hPa (altitude of -500 m)
Run time: Min 5 hours
Ingress Protection against solids, dust, and water intrusion: IP44 (configuration in use, meaning the device connected to its battery and sensor)
Measurement accuracy: Volume measurements are based on FlowSense® sensor measurements and are expressed in mL for the BTPS (Body Temperature and Pressure, Saturated). The measurement accuracies of the parameters displayed on the screen are as follows:
- Vi (insufflated volume): ± 4.9% of the actual measured value under normal conditions of use
- Vt (tidal volume): ± 5.5% of the actual measured value under normal conditions of use
- Freq (ventilation frequency): ± 1 cycle per minute
FlowSense® data:
- Flow range: ± 250 slm (standard liters per minute)
- Dead space: < 10 ml
Note : Some types of BVM may affect the measurement accuracy due to their design (non-laminar outgoing airflow). A slight measurement deviation may be observed but has no impact on compliance with regulatory requirements.
